HARRYS MIDPRICE MADNESS PLAYER THREE- BRAD CROUCH
Today marks the official launch of supercoach for all non gold users, so I think it’s time to go on for one of the midfielders I am personally most bullish on, Brad Crouch. After missing the entire of 2018 through a groin injury, Brad is now fit and firing in the preseason and is ready for a big 2019.
PROS
-
Averaged 96 in 2017, 94 in 2015.
-
Has not averaged less than 86 in his 4 year playing career
-
Mainly a midfielder, cannot really play forward
-
Excellent value at only 418k.
-
Playing in an exceptional Adelaide midfield that will win plenty of ball.
-
No injury news so far in the 2019 preseason.
CONS
-
Missed the entire 2018 season through injury
-
Has not played more than 17 games in a season in his career
-
Plenty of midfielders at Adelaide could mean lack of opportunity for Brad Crouch
-
Despite the cheap price tag, mid-price midfielders are usually not required. Ie: other premiums such as Merrett/Matt Crouch are just 120k more expensive.
Brad Crouch is currently sitting at m6 in my draft side, as I can see him averaging between 90-100 which would be a perfect stepping stone to a fallen premium around the byes. There is an obvious injury concern however even if Crouch can only manage 15 games this season I will be more than happy.
MIDPRICE RATING: 9/10
