Lowest Score not injured: 59

Last 5 games avg from Rd 18-23): 113.8

Melbourne's Clayton Oliver is an All-Australian. He's won a best and fairest, finished runner-up in another, has been a Coaches' Association best young player of the year, won a Rising Star nomination in his first game of AFL football and has played in three finals.

Oliver, in just his third year with only 60 games under his belt, has elevated himself to one of the stars of the competition. The 21-year-old has improved with each season in the league and in 2018 averaged a remarkable 29.5 disposals and seven tackles per game.

He finished 2018 ranked third in the AFL for disposals, third for tackles and fifth for clearances.

Oliver is a set and forget midfielder for many years to come and he is one player you can not mistake, with that bright orange hair he is always an easy one to spot when watching the Dees play. His numbers are helped by having one of, if not the best ruckman in the comp palming the ball down to him in ever ruck dual.

But a very scary stat is from round 16 to 21 Oliver did not drop under 100pts. In this purple batch he averaged 131pts.

Oliver is just an accumulator of the ball and in 2019 I can’t see this changing at all. He is the Dee’s best midfielder and at the age of 21 and with his 4th year coming up and improving each year, this guy is just a jet.

What is going to slow Oliver down? Well surgery on both his shoulders in the off season is the only thing. But in saying that, his JLT showed no signs of slowing down at all and with that he is a lock.

My 2019 prediction: 118
