2018 Supercoach Stats:

Average Score: 113.8

Highest Score: 205 (Rd 20 Carlton)

Lowest Score: 82

Last 5 games avg from Rd 18-23): 125.8

The GIANTS badly missed the 2017 club champion and All-Australian when he was out for a total of eight games last season, mainly due to a groin injury.

A bout of concussion and a knee injury that ended his season during the finals also made it a tough year for Kelly, but when he was on the field, his star quality shone through.

The gun midfielder averaged 26.3 disposals, 5.6 inside 50s and 5.1 tackles in his 16 matches to poll 10 votes in the Brownlow Medal.

Kelly had 1 purple patch in 2018 as he was in and out of the side due to injury, rounds 18 – 20 he averaged 155.

With his huge scoring ceiling and that massive game of 205 round 20 this guy when fit has huge numbers written all over him.

He was the 3rd guy I selected in my side and has not moved out once.

With a great preseason to date he is a must have. But any inkling of an injury he is out ASAP.

Mind you GWS kept his injury on the down low last year, so you will be a master mind if you find out before season start.

I tip Kelly to be a top 3 midfielder. What is stopping him is very simple, injury. Last year he killed us by going in and out of the side, in the end with good high scoring games late in the season was great but was still basically missing during Supercoach finals.

My 2019 prediction: 118
